Product Introduction
The RD-3605 is a versatile X-ray flaw detector engineered for a broad spectrum of industrial applications, including power plant installations, shipbuilding, and chemical pipeline inspections. This portable and compact device is designed to enhance work efficiency through its robust penetration and continuous operational capability (up to 15 minutes). Available in directional and circumferential configurations, the RD-3605 accommodates diverse inspection requirements. With a maximum penetration thickness of 55mm for Q235 steel, this unit is well-suited for a variety of non-destructive testing scenarios.
This series of flaw detectors is an SF6 gas-insulated portable X-ray flaw detector, which consists of the following parts: X-ray generator, intelligent controller, power cable, connecting cable, accessories, etc.
The X-ray generator has a modular structure. The high-voltage transformer (including the X-ray tube filament winding) and the X-ray tube are installed in the same tubing. The tubing is made of aluminum and is sealed internally filled with sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), an insulating gas that provides excellent electrical insulation against high voltage.
To facilitate heat dissipation of the X-ray tube, an anode grounding method is used. A multi-bladed aluminum heat sink is installed at the anode target extension end, and a fan is mounted on the heat sink for forced cooling to enhance heat dissipation. A layer of lead plate for radiation shielding is also laid inside the tubing.
Furthermore, a temperature relay is installed on both the iron core inside the tubing and the external heat sink to prevent damage to the machine due to overheating. The generator has a flash lamp power supply for radiation warning. End rings are installed at both ends of the X-ray generator, allowing it to be placed upright or horizontally for easy transport.
