Latest company case about China-Russia pipeline inspection Heihe section 1422

RD-300LG series is a portable industrial X-ray machine independently developed and produced by our company. It can work continuously without rest and has a maximum exposure of 99 minutes. This series of equipment is divided into two models: directional and circumferential. The maximum penetration of A3 steel thickness is 80mm and 70mm. The radiation angle of the directional machine is 40±5º, and the circumferential radiation angle is 360º. It is used in the project of "China-Russia pipeline inspection Heihe section 1422".

A portable industrial X-ray machine is a compact, mobile device used for non-destructive testing (NDT) and inspection of industrial components, structures, and materials. Unlike fixed X-ray systems, these machines are designed to be transported to different locations, making them ideal for fieldwork, construction sites, pipelines, aerospace, and manufacturing plants.

Key Features of Portable Industrial X-Ray Machines:

  1. Mobility

    • Lightweight and compact design for easy transportation.

    • Often battery-operated or with minimal power requirements.

    • Can be carried by hand or mounted on a trolley.

  2. Applications

    • Weld Inspection – Checking for cracks, voids, or defects in pipelines and structural welds.

    • Aerospace & Automotive – Inspecting turbine blades, castings, and composite materials.

    • Defense & Security – Detecting flaws in ammunition or military equipment.

    • Oil & Gas – Evaluating corrosion and integrity of pipelines.

    • Electronics – PCB (printed circuit board) inspection.

  3. Technology Types

    • X-Ray Generators (Tube-based) – Produce X-rays using a high-voltage tube (common in industrial radiography).

    • Betatron/Linac (High-Energy X-rays) – Used for thick materials like steel or concrete.

    • Digital Detectors (DR – Digital Radiography) – Replaces traditional film with instant digital imaging.

    • Computed Radiography (CR) – Uses phosphor imaging plates for flexible inspections.

  4. Safety & Compliance

    • Shielding to minimize radiation exposure.

    • Compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM, ASME).

    • Often includes remote operation to keep operators at a safe distance.

Advantages Over Fixed Systems:

On-site inspections – No need to disassemble or transport large components.
Faster results – Digital systems provide real-time imaging.
Cost-effective – Reduces downtime compared to lab-based X-ray systems.

Conclusion:

Portable industrial X-ray machines are essential for quality control, safety inspections, and maintenance in industries where large or immovable structures need internal flaw detection. They combine advanced imaging technology with mobility, making them a versatile tool in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing).
